    About the Author

    After her career as a textile designer and table coordinator, Yamada currently holds the position of PR manager at the official shop of Yamada Sen-I, a Kyoto-based Furoshiki manufacturer and wholesaler, named “Kyoto Wabunka Institute MUSUBI”. She regularly gives lectures both in Japan and abroad to teach people about the beauty of Furoshiki. As well as being involved with the latest product development, she is also active in introducing people to how Furoshiki can be used in everyday modern life.
