Moya Matcha was founded in 2015 by Hitomi Saito to bring the great benefits of Matcha and green tea to Europe. All tea leafs and organically grown in the Uji area of ​​Kyoto Prefecture, a region known for over 800 years for the cultivation of the highest quality green tea. This region is known for fertile soil and clean waters. Tea has ideal conditions for growing there due to the large amount of rainfall, well-sunlit hills and mists formed between them, which protect the delicate leaves of the bushes from frost.

Moya Matcha is carefully grown and harvested in small, family-friendly organic tea fields. Then it is locally processed in Japan, hermetically packed and sent in small batches to ensure its highest freshness. This helps to preserve all the properties of tea leaves and maintain high levels of minerals and antioxidants.
