Information about delivery times, refund policy and waste free packaging

Waste Free Packaging

We do our best to send all of our packages with waste-free and eco-friendly packaging. Read on to learn more and how to handle it correctly.

We have tried many different approaches to reduce the amount of waste and packaging for our shipments, and got rejected many times at the post office. There are strict regulations on how a letter or package has to labeled, packaged and sealed to ensure reliable handling by the sorting machines. The post office will also add stickers to some shipments, after the package hand-over.

Some of our products are already pre-packaged with disposable packaging by the original manufacturer. Live Green does not remove this material, as it protects the products. However, no additional, waste-resulting packaging is added, whenever possible.

Packaging

  • Main packaging The products main packaging consists of either recycled paper or cardboard. You may handle it over to the paper/cardboard recycling station, as you would with a newspaper.
  • Attachments The paper or cardboard is either bound together with pure cotton thread, which is 100% bio-degradable and can be disposed with your other green wastes, or with compostable glue. Some shipments, especially the larger packages, are also sealed and secured with plant-based paper tape. This tape is recycable just like normal paper or cardboard.
  • Seal Some packages are branded with a Live Green wax seal to indicate the genuine origin of the package. The wax is reusable, simply add it to your candle.

Invoice and Content

  • Invoice We send our packages and letters without printed invoice. Instead, you will receive a digital invoice to your email inbox.
  • Protection We ship without any non-recyclable protective material, such as foam film, air cushions, bubble wrap or styrofoam chips. Most of our products are not fragile and do not require additional protection. If needed, we cushion the products with old newspaper or packaging paper, with is recyclable.

Delivery

We want to make sure that all orders are delivered as soon as possible. However, immediate shipping is not always possible. Read on to learn more.

  • All regular orders are shipped at latest on the next working day, after the full payment was received.
  • Orders placed and fully paid before 12pm (noon) of any working day, will be shipped on the same day.
  • Orders are sent through the Swiss Post and should arrive within 3 working days at most within Switzerland.

Free shipping

  • For all orders with a total amount of at least CHF 80.00 we offer free Economy shipping (instead of CHF 8.50).
  • In this case, an upgrade to Priority shipping is possible for only 2.50 CHF (instead of CHF 10.50).

Next day delivery

If you wish to receive your package in a hurry, next day delivery is possible under the following circumstances:

  • The order is placed, and the payment received before 12pm (noon) of a working day
  • Priority shipping was selected during checkout
  • The next day is also a working day

Please note that next day delivery is never guaranteed!

Back-Orders

  • Back-orders are possible via Email, but require a minim order quantity, which varies dependent of the product.
  • Back-orders are initiated as soon as the full payment was received.
  • The delivery time of partial or full back-orders is dependent of the manufacturers of the products included in the order, and the order quantity.
  • Orders are not shipped before all products have been received from the manufacturers.
  • The average delivery time for back-orders is 4 weeks, after the full payment was received.

Returns and Refund

If you are not 100% satisfied with your products, you may return them to Live Green within 30 days.

Conditions & Instructions

  • Live Green must be contacted prior to the returning
  • Do not return damaged products unrequested, include a brief damage report or picture with your request
  • You must include the delivery note from your package or a print-out of the invoice you have received via email
  • Products must be returned within 30 days after delivery (post date)
  • The return shipping costs are at the expense of the customer

If all conditions are met, the returned products are either replaced with no extra costs and sent to the customer, or refunded to 100% via a previously agreed payment service.

Important: The shipping costs paid via online shop cannot be refunded, since the products have been shipped already.
