    Description

The Abeego beeswax fire starters are made exclusively from leftover Abeego reusable food wraps, every shred is given its fullest zero-waste life. Lightweight, water-resistant and burns chemical free.

The Abeego beeswax fire starters are great to slay wet campfire wood and fire up charcoal barbecues or fireplaces — here are some of our favourite ideas what you can do with the beeswax fire starters.

    • Light the end like a wick
    • Pull strands free, crumple in an airy ball and light them up!
    • Keep a pack handy to start a fire anytime
    • Outdoor cooking enthusiast? Use the fire starters to light the flame under a rugged cast iron pan or kettle
    • In a pinch while camping? Use a fire starter as a twist tie for broken gear or to attach a tool to your pack.
    What is Abeego?

Abeego is brand name of a reusable beeswax wrap that is breathable and protects food from air and moisture. A wrap that is made with 100% natural cloth and is treated with beeswax to give it anti-bacterial properties, and which can be composted as normal green waste. All Abeego Beeswax Food Wraps are made with beeswax, tree resin, organic jojoba oil infused into a hemp and organic cotton cloth. The fire starters are made exclusively from leftover Abeego towels to avoid waste and avoid pollution when outdoors.

How to use the Abeego fire starters?

The beeswax towels will burn brightest when they get crumpled in an airy ball and then lighten up. If you burn the strands without crumbling, they will burn longer but less intense.
