About the collection
Furoshiki Bag Rings – Transparent is part of the Moga collection from Musubi. The Modern Girls (shortened as Moga) of Japan were women in the 1920s that followed the westernized fashion, creating a new lifestyle at that time. Modern Girls emerge after the Great Kanto Earthquake in 1923 and were usually completely independent, both financially and emotionally. The Moga Furoshiki collection from Musubi aims to reproduce that magical style during the Taisho era with the unique and vivid patterns. A special Furoshiki handle was created along with this towel collection (see pictures), which was also a typical style of the Moga fashion. The Furoshiki ring handle is available separately in our shop.
